Dr. Jochen Bastian

After studying at the University of Hamburg, Dr. Jochen Bastian worked in a renowned private clinic and a practice for oral and maxillofacial surgery and founded his own dental practice in Bavaria in 2013.

After a research stay at the University of Bern as part of his dissertation, he received his doctorate with “magna cum laude” and was awarded the doctoral prize for the best dental doctorate of 2015 at the University of Hamburg.

Dr. Bastian has attended numerous training courses in the fields of biological dentistry, dental implantology and digital dentistry over the years.

His many years of experience in dental surgery, implantology and biological dentistry also enable Dr. Bastian to perform major restorations, such as the treatment of jaw inflammation, removal of foreign bodies, bone augmentation using internal and external sinus lifts and gentle ultrasonic surgery. Dr. Bastian has been using neural therapy, ozone and A-PRF autologous blood membranes for years to achieve an optimal treatment result. In 2018, Dr. Bastian was trained by Dr. Klinghardt in ART testing.

Dental treatment using hypoallergenic high-performance resins, ceramics and composites has become routine since his studies. Dr. Bastian is also certified in orthodontic aligner therapy.

Since 2011, he has been using digital scans whenever possible to avoid conventional dental impressions.
