TMJ consultation

A TMJ consultation is suitable for patients with temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD/TMJD). Especially patients with a long history of TMJ and severe symptoms can benefit from a thorough examination and discussion.

The TMJ consultation takes approximately 1 hour. During this time, the patient is examined in detail, focusing on the temporomandibular joints and the TMJ dysfunction. Subsequently, the results of the dental assessment and treatment options are explained.

The goal of the treatment is a complete regeneration of the temporomandibular joints, whereby the TMJ symptoms should improve greatly or be completely gone. The situation of the jaw joints and teeth is permanently stabilized by the correct reconstruction of the occlusal surfaces.

The cost of a TMJ consultation is approximately 500 - 900 CHF.
