Dr. Markus Spalek has been a dentist with great enthusiasm since 1993. After his studies and 2 years of residency in practices near Heidelberg, he worked for 24 years in his own practice in Metzingen, Germany. During this time he acquired profound knowledge in the fields of dental aesthetics, dental prosthesis, functional therapy, periodontology, prophylaxis, implantology, restorations and other areas of dentistry through numerous advanced trainings.
He acquired a special qualification in functional therapy, which focuses on the treatment of malocclusions and TMJ.
In 2019, he sold his practice to join the Swiss Biohealth Clinic, Kreuzlingen, as dental director. He supplemented his knowledge in practical application and with the specialization as a “Specialist in Biological Dentistry”. Based on this knowledge, he is able to solve highly complex treatment cases in cooperation with other specialists. After inventing a uniquely effective system against bedsores of bedridden persons (decubitus), a turning point in his professional career occurred. Since founding the MedTech startup “Nocubi”, he has devoted his time to product development and establishment of the company, in addition to dentistry.
With Dr. Spaleks vocation to dentistry, he continues his profession as a dentist with over 30 years of experience. He offers treatments in cooperation with Dr. Artur Hein and his team, treating complex cases and is pleased to be able to work with a motivated, professional team.
