Digital impression

Digital impression

A digital impression is a modern method of recreating the bite with an intraoral scanner. During this process, many photos are taken one after the other and combined to form a three-dimensional impression of the teeth.

Before a dental prosthesis can be made, an impression of the teeth and oral structures is necessary. The type of impression and the material used determine the compatibility.

A modern and safe solution is digital impression with an intraoral scanner. Using a small camera, many photos are taken in quick intervals and converted into a complete, three-dimensional model. An intraoral scan is a good alternative to a biological impression made with impression material.

With an intraoral scanner of the latest generation and perfectly coordinated dental laboratory, high accuracy can be guaranteed for all types of dental restorations.
